Hunting with Mike Deloach has
always been a sure bet. Being the
owner of an archery and taxidermy
shop I don't always have time to go
on quality hunts. I have hunted with
Mike on a gold Medal scimitar
horned Oryx and on a silver class
red stag. I also plan to hunt white
tail with him this fall. All hunts are
first class.

I had the privilege to have Michael as a hunting guide in 2005. I
looked at many different websites and talked to many people
before deciding on Michael. I was excited about the opportunity
to see real South Texas Brush Country Trophy Whitetail Buck.
After hearing about the numerous ranches available, Being from
Central Texas, I had never seen a buck with a spread of 17
inches. When I arrived, I felt right at home with the facilities. The
ranch house (lodge) was beautiful. The family was very nice and
made me feel very comfortable. The food was great, but what I
remember the most is the incredible amount of quality bucks. It
was obvious that they feed protein year round. My first 20
minutes in the stand I saw 2 bucks that were 10 points and only
2 years old. I saw a buck that would score in the 180's. I was in
heaven! I came home with 2 trophy bucks that I am so proud of.
The first is a 9 point that scored 143 and field dressed 195 lbs.
The taxidermist said he only sees one buck a year in that weight
class. The second was a typical South Texas, 22.5 in.; 10 pointer.
I am planning another hunt this year and I can't wait! For an
outstanding success rate, the logical choice is Michael , hands
down.

I have hunted with Michael for 2 years.
Last year I was not able to Harvest an animal Not
that I did not have a number of opportunities. I
was just too picky but hey that is hunting. Michael
however did all he could and warned me that I was
passing some really good opportunities. I saw
some really awesome animals so maybe my sights
got too high.
This year the 2007 season I had very limited
hunting time. I had an opportunity with in an hour
of hitting the blind. I guess I would have been
having back strap if I didn’t choke. Michael took it
all in stride and we hunted the next morning. The
next week when I had a chance we hit the blind
again. I took a really mature cull buck. Michael
really took care of me on every hunt that I have
been on with him. Next year we will be traveling to
Kansas to chase the big ones and I won’t be
missing anymore.

I have been deer hunting since I was a young
boy. This was my first guided hunt other than
Africa. I am very impressed with Michael, not
only with his knowledge for the game, but his
desire to provide the best service possible.
I have hunted Texas, New Mexico,Colorado,
and been to Africa twice. I can't stress enough
just how much I enjoyed the lodging.
It was a slice of heaven for me. Beautiful
Pecan trees nestled along a creek bed. I loved
my hunt and recommend Michael to anyone

Quality & quantity of Blackbuck Antelope were
excellent. Although I did not make the greatest shot
on the Blackbuck, Michael did everything possible to
find the wounded animal. He later found the buck. This
was an excellent Blackbuck hunt, it far exceeded my
expectations. My guide was very high caliber. He
“pulled” me off of many lesser quality bucks to help me
get a true trophy. Thanks for a truly Awesome hunt!

I hunted with Michael in February of 2007 for a blackbuck
antelope. I had a blast! His knowledge of the ranch and the
animals habits made me fell we were always one step
ahead of them. An added bonus was getting to see so
many mature trophy whitetail while we were hunting. I shot
my blackbuck on the third day and now I am planning on
coming back and hunting an audad with Michael.
